My journey began with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, where I developed critical analytical and problem-solving skills that continue to serve me in the cloud architecture space.

I transitioned into the tech industry through Absa Group's graduate program, where I evolved from a Systems Analyst and Developer in Big Data to a Specialist Data Scientist, gaining deep expertise in financial analytics and machine learning. This foundation led me to Amazon in 2018, where I've spent over 6 years progressing through research roles—from Research Scientist to Senior Research Scientist— before transitioning to my current role as Senior Solutions Architect in 2025.
